Lost Walls Project: Alegria
Couldn't load pickup availability
Alegría is a bold, brightly colored mural, painstakingly crafted across the expansive exterior of a 19th-century castle in France. It explores the multifaceted history of the building and its many uses, and translates beautifully into this 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle.
Why We Love It:
We absolutely love the concept of the Lost Walls Project.
A temporary work captured forever in the form of a puzzle. The artist’s mural in its original street setting before it's covered over. Lost Walls is paying artists, preserving their works and keeping them alive through our favorite family pastime.
Louis Lambert aka 3TTMAN
Louis Lambert is a major presence in Madrid’s contemporary art scene. He’s developed a high-brow meets low-brow aesthetic that combines punk’s heritage of graffiti and do-it-yourself-by-any-means necessary attitude with vernacular and popular religious art - and blurs the boundaries between art and craft. He produces highly complex collages, never simply painting over but using what was already there, playing with it, challenging it, taking a purely commercial medium and converting it into a space for interaction, for enjoyment.
