About the Artist: After winning the Most Artistic award in Mrs. McCalister’s third-grade class, Ron Borresen knew he wanted to be an artist. A graduate of Ringling College of Art & Design, Ron’s degree in Illustration launched his freelance career. His drawing style and bold colors bring out larger-than-life expressions and humor in his characters. Ron lives in Florida with his wife, Jennifer, and children Erik and Emily.
